Hey, everyone! I thought I’d make a blog entry to let you all know that we’ve changed our loyalty scheme and how it works. It used to be a case of whenever you made an in store purchase, £1 earned your account 1 point. And when you had 100 points, you had £7 in your account to use on your next in store purchase.
After a while we found a few flaws with this system. It was easily exploitable and we wanted a more secure system with fairer rewards. Which is why we now use Swippi! To set yourself up with one of our Swipii loyalty accounts all you have to do is come in store, scan a little card that goes on your key ring, put in your email address and verify it and then you’re done! You don’t even need to verify your email address then and there, you can wait until you get home. And you won’t get hit with Spam either- after testing it myself and getting the verification email, I’ve only been sent one other email about it and I signed up at the beginning of November.
With this new system you don’t even need to buy anything to earn loyalty points, all you have to do is visit us in store and scan your card at the till. You can scan your card once per day and each scan can get 5 points put on to your loyalty account. When you get to 25 points, you can use them to get £5 off from an in store purchase when you spend £50 or more. When you get to 50 points you can use them to get £10 off when you spend £100 or more.
We feel this is a more secure system and it rewards our loyal customers for even just coming in to say hi. But if you still have points left over from our old system that still add up to a usable amount- don’t worry, you can still use them but you’ll no longer earn any more points using that old system. So you might as well get yourself a new Swipii card while you’re here!
If you have any questions about our in store loyalty scheme- you can call us for more information, email us or leave a comment for me here on the blog. Hopefully in time, as our store grows, our list of rewards may grow as well. Thanks for reading, everyone! Until next time!
