Do you want to get your opinion published on our website?

Biking is a personal thing, we all have our own views and opinions on motorcycle kit, ideal destinations for touring, what a “real” bike even is.  If you would like to get your opinions on here then simply e-mail me at “Harris AT ghostbikes.com”, it could be a brief description of your touring holiday, a product test, or even your random thoughts on a current issue like speed cameras.

Some of the more contentious topics on the shop floor have been whether or not to bother with hi-vis vests, body armour,  sticking to or breaking speed limits, effective policing strategies etc.

So if you want to talk about an upcoming motorcycle event in your area, a charity ride, the weather, the roads, the state of the nation or to discuss what type of junk food provides the most sustenance on a long ride then let me know about it and we’ll get it up on the website for you!

Hi Ghostbikes.com readers,

My name is Harris, I am your new blogger for the ghostbikes.com website. Many of you will have met me already in our retail store on Deepdale Mill Street, Preston.

It’s my job to let you know what’s going on with us and to keep you informed of what we are up to and where it’s happening.

Riding is something close to my heart and if there is any excuse to go out for a blast round the glorious A roads we have in the North West I will take it.  Occasionally I will go in for the more leisurely cruises but my current ride; the GSXR750, doesn’t overly lend itself to that.

I am hoping [and ever optimistic to get the time off!] to do a trip through Europe at some point and so if anyone has any recommended routes, places to stop or any mad stories they want to share then I’d encourage you to comment.  You can catch me on the http://www.northwestbikers.net/forum/ as well where I go by the alias “HBW”.
