Hey, everyone! It’s getting closer and closer to Christmas, just a few weeks away now, and people are starting to struggle to find gifts for people. The longer you leave it the more of a stress it becomes, so if you’re having a bit of trouble shopping for any bikers in your life, we’ve got you covered! It doesn’t have to be such a headache for you and bikers are usually pretty easy to shop for. So take a look at our list of biker gift ideas for X-mas 2017!
A neck tube! Most of them are very inexpensive and most riders appreciate having one for the colder weather. So if you’re shopping for a biker that rides all year round, this is definitely a thoughtful choice and makes a brilliant little stocking filler. There are all kinds available from neck tubes made from thin, stretchy material to more cozy looking tubes made of thicker materials.
Socks! A good pair of thermal motorcycle socks are a bikers best mate at this time of year. Heck, in my house, a good pair of socks is practically gold and my pairs are constantly being “borrowed”. So help a biker in your life keep their toes toasty with a pair of thermal bike socks this winter! Besides, getting socks at Christmas isn’t all that uncommon and everyone over a certain age appreciates a new pair. Might as well make them a good one!
A hoodie! I don’t know about you guys but for me, getting a new hoodie, or better yet a biker hoodie is great- it’s even better when I’ve acquired it as a gift because I know that person truly knows me. I feel most relaxed when I’m wearing a good hoodie, like some people do in their favourite PJs or pair of slippers. A good hoodie can be worn and appreciated for most of the year here in the UK, with the exception of the hotter summer days of course, so it’s a thoughtful and long-lasting gift choice.
A sturdy motorcycle chain and lock. It’s awful but Christmas time is when the thieves out there know that a lot of houses are full of the good stuff- and for a biker that also means your shed or garage. When I was a child my parents got me an awesome mountain bike for Christmas- but I had it for just a few days before it was stolen. It definitely left an impression on me- twenty years later and I still need a lock and chain on my ride for me to feel okay with walking away from it. Get your biker friend or loved one a decent motorcycle lock and chain and help them do all they can to keep their Christmas from being ruined.
Ghostbikes Gift Vouchers! Gift vouchers are a great gift idea for a lot of reasons. They fit nicely into a card and it’s a great alternative to giving someone money. It lets them choose a gift for themselves yet forces them to use that voucher for something they want instead of something they need like paying bills- allowing them to enjoy it more. At Ghostbikes we have vouchers for £5, £20, £30, £50. £75 and £100 so, depending on how much you like the recipient, there’s a voucher that’s got you covered.
And I think that’s all for Christmas gift ideas for now- mostly a list of smaller, more inexpensive gifts ideas because everyone’s pretty much broke around this time of year. But perhaps I’ll make another list in a few days that’ll include some of the bigger items I consider to be valid gift choices. Thanks for reading, everyone! Until next time!
