The Black Strike Waterproof Motorcycle Boots

Hey everyone! It seemed like it was going to be a lovely day this morning but now I can hear rain outside, so I’ve chosen a waterproof boot from one of our own brands to introduce to you all. The Black Strike Waterproof Motorcycle Boots!

I chose to present this boot because it offers the best of both worlds. Sometimes when you’re looking for waterproof bike gear you have to sacrifice on style in exchange for keeping dry. The Strike boots manage to do both. You get to keep the racer, sporty style of boot with ample shin protection but you also get to keep your socks from getting soaked.

The main shell of the boot is constructed from a tough leather, a great,  protective and abrasion resistant material that will take the brunt of any abuse headed at your feet. To keep the boot flexible there are also areas of latex foam stretch panels that are designed to make the boot more comfortable to wear by giving the foot a bit more freedom of movement and allowing the ankle to flex.

For extra reinforcement the toe cap of the boot is made from a Techno GI Thermoplastic. That may sound like a cheap material but I assure you its great stuff, a flexible plastic designed to take impact and spread the force throughout the material. Its much safer than other materials such as metal like in a steel toe cap as metal can mangle in an impact or seriously damage your toes.

The boots also have added molded support and protection in areas such as the shins, heels and ankles to keep your feet firm and safe inside the boot, providing what impact protection they can and excellent abrasion resistance. The sole of the boot is made from a tough vulcanised rubber that provides great grip both on and off the bike and it also features an anti-twist mid sole made form molded Nylon that helps to prevent the foot from being twisted in unnatural ways in a crash.

Now on the the inside of the boot. Although you may not be able to see it, the inside of the boot has a Hipora waterproof lining, a breathable waterproof membrane that keeps water out, is tough but also flexible. Covering the waterproofing is an air mesh lining that is plush and comfortable on the foot, yet allows the foot to breathe and avoid overheating by trapping hot air inside. At the bottom of the boot is a triple density construction comfort insole, designed to keep the wearer of the boot comfortable with three of its properties; Its anti-fungal, anti-bacterial and moisture wicking, so the boots are comfy and hygienic. They’re also available in white if you prefer and they come in sizes UK 7 to UK 12.

  
There’s a lot more to say about these boots but it all more or less amounts to me praising them. But if you don’t believe me, you can check out the customer reviews of the Strike boots on Feefo.
