I know what you’re thinking, “Why should I buy a Shoei? Aren’t they expensive?” Read on friends, read on.

The XR-1100 features technology already seen in the helmets of racing car drivers and fighter jet pilots. The helmet incorporates Shoei’s CW-1 visor which offers a 120 degree view – much more than any other helmet in it’s class. The aerodynamic shell makes the helmet incredibly stable even at high speeds, allowing for optimum airflow and preventing buffeting. The helmet is constructed of lightweight fibreglass which is weaved and layered for maximum shock absorbance, but also the highest levels of rigidity and safety. The lining is completely removable (and machine washable!) so you can keep your helmet feeling fresher for longer. The XR-1100 also sports a specialist ‘breathing chamber’, designed to ensure that your visor does not steam up whilst riding; whatever the weather.
