Hey, everyone! This is part two of my blog entry on motorcycle jeans since the weather is getting nicer and a good pair of bike jeans makes all the difference on a warm ride.
In this part I’ll be looking at the Black Motorcycle Jeans range- a range of jeans from one of our own brands that is comfortable, great quality and really affordable.
The Black range of motorcycle jeans is made up of three models- the Ballistic and the Command for the gents and the Salus for the ladies. The first thing to note about all of these models is that they all share the same affordable price- just £79.99. Some bike jeans out there cost more than double that amount for a similar amount of protection.
Since I own three pairs of the Ballistic jeans myself, I can vouch for their comfort. They feel far more forgiving than some other kevlar lined jeans that cost under £100 without cutting or digging in at the top of the thighs like I’ve discovered wearing jeans from some other brands..
While the Kevlar coverage isn’t quite as extensive as some other brands such as Bull It, it has been placed in the more common problem areas that tend to hit the road in a slide such as the buttocks, thighs and knees. Plus it’s 250gsm original DuPont Kevlar, so you know it’s good stuff.
It even has pockets for knee armour, which we also sell and I’m currently wearing in my Ballistic jeans right now and can be bought for an extra £9.99. It’s a soft armour that molds to the shape of your knees. So once it’s warmed up- it softens and you’ll barely notice it anymore. But in an impact it becomes a rigid rubber to absorb and disperse impact forces, giving it a CE Level 2 rating, the highest rating motorcycle protection gear can get.
They’re definitely the best value for money pair of motorcycle jeans on the market and I’m enjoying mine a whole lot. They’ve made travelling on dry days so much more convenient and I feel much better about going out to mingle without needing to disrobe from a normal pair of bike pants.
Thanks for reading everyone! Until next time!
